On this weekend afternoon, Daxton Lancaster called over his brother Joseph Lancaster, ordered a few dishes from the kitchen to accompany their drinks, and the two brothers drank together. Violet Zimmerman had a simple meal and then took the two children upstairs to their room.
After taking a sip of white wine, Daxton Lancaster uttered a sound of satisfaction, picked up his chopsticks, and reached for the plate of peanuts, saying meaningfully, "Joseph, you're not young anymore. You should find a woman. When you have a wife, big brother will be at ease."
Joseph Lancaster also put down his wine cup, with a slight smile on his face. The two brothers had similar tastes, so he also picked up his chopsticks to take a peanut.
"Big brother, don't worry about me. I'm not a kid!"
Daxton Lancaster tossed a peanut into his mouth, rested his chopsticks, and placed both hands on his knees, chewing and sighing.
