But Mabel Quinn was an exception. She wasn't an outsider; she was Kyle Kinston's soon-to-be wife. Yet ironically, no one warned her about not approaching the Ancestral Hall, and certainly, no one dared to shoot at her. So, by a twist of fate, she walked into the Ancestral Hall. When Kyle received the report from security, he rushed back and headed straight to the Ancestral Hall, not wanting Mabel to discover the Kinston Family's secret.
"Why didn't you tell her about the matter of Mingyi?" Butler Kang remembered asking Kyle this when he brought it up.
"Because I don't want her sympathy. If I tell her about the Kinston Family's Blood Curse and the matter of Mingyi now, maybe she really will never leave me. But how much of that is sympathy, we'll never know." Kyle said.
"But isn't she going to marry you now? She loves you, so even if she knows about the Blood Curse and Mingyi, it shouldn't matter."
