Mabel Quinn looked thoughtfully at her friend. In the evening, when Kyle Kinston returned, he asked Mabel, "Did Dorian have a fight with Alice Conley?"
"What makes you say that?" Mabel asked.
"I bumped into him today, and he seemed like he was about to explode. His secretary also mentioned that his mood hasn't been great these days, and some of the higher-ups at his Corporation have been yelled at quite a bit," Kyle said.
"Alice didn't mention any argument, but it seems her mood hasn't been great recently either," Mabel replied.
Kyle smiled wryly, "Then it seems there's really a problem." In a way, the fact that Alice Conley could affect Dorian Howards' mood so much was itself quite an achievement.
"Do you think the Howards Family will really oppose them? I feel if the Howards Family agreed, maybe Alice wouldn't resist Dorian so much," Mabel said. "It's a pity for people who clearly have feelings for each other to be separated because of family opposition."
