"If you don't like eating instant noodles, just say it. Anyway, I can eat two bowls," she said, indicating that his bowl wouldn't go to waste and she could help finish it off.
He smiled gently, "It's not that I don't like it, I'm just amazed that you can cook instant noodles now."
Alice Conley nearly spat out a mouthful of noodles. The way he said it made it sound like she was completely useless. During her college days, she was quite the expert with instant noodles. Not only did she make them for herself, but also for her roommates and even sometimes those in the neighboring dorm.
"I can cook lots of things," Alice Conley replied.
"Oh, really? Then let me see it sometime. I wonder if you've improved compared to three years ago," Dorian Howards said.
