The party was halfway through when Mabel Quinn stood up to greet Kyle Kinston and then went to the restroom on her own.
As she exited the restroom, she was suddenly bumped into by a woman in stage performance attire with heavy makeup. The collision sent her staggering, and the clutch she was holding fell to the ground, with several of its contents spilling out.
The woman who bumped into her shot her a sidelong glance and said, "Why don't you watch where you're going!"
Mabel Quinn laughed. Did she have "easy target" written on her face or something? Mabel intercepted the woman, "It seems like you're the one who wasn't looking. Or were you trying to bump into me on purpose?"
"What did you say?" Evelyn glared at Mabel Quinn. "You bumped into me, and now you're trying to shift the blame! Don't block my way to the restroom, or if I miss my performance, can you take responsibility?!"
