Mabel Quinn opened the door and entered the room, and Kyle Kinston followed her inside, unsurprisingly.
"What do you want this time? Don't tell me you haven't had dinner and want to eat again?" Mabel asked.
Unexpectedly, Kyle actually responded with a "Hmm."
"This isn't a restaurant, you know. Are you planning to come here every day for dinner?" she said.
He replied casually, "I do have that plan, but if there's something at the Corporation, I won't come for dinner."
She was rendered speechless, and after a while, she said, "Kyle Kinston, what's the point of coming to me like this? I won't fall in love with you again; we can't go back to the past. You initiated the breakup, and I accepted it. So as you said, from now on, you're you, and I'm me. Isn't that great?"
He pursed his lips tightly. Once, he thought that would be good too, but actually, it wasn't.
After a long pause, he murmured, "I shouldn't have broken up with you."
