Alice Conley was also pondering internally, but didn't want to say anything in front of her friend, so she said, "Mabel, why not have Dorian drive you back to Kyle's place first?"
"No need." Mabel Quinn shook her head, "I want to wander around nearby for a bit and buy some groceries on my way back."
"What? You're still cooking for yourself? There should be a chef at Kyle's place, right?" Alice said.
"There is a chef, but I guess I'm just used to cooking for myself. If I have free time, I still like to cook," Mabel said.
"Hmm, alright then." Alice didn't press further.
After Mabel left, Dorian Howards directly instructed the driver to take Alice's two cousins home before taking Alice to his car.
As soon as they got in the car, Alice couldn't help but say, "What do you think Kyle Kinston means by this? Wasn't he supposed to be here to accompany Mabel to try on dresses? How come he left with just a few words from Francine?"
