Amelia Foster left dinner for the two children in the servants' quarters. Clarence Xenos had dinner with his little sister. Clarence was lying on the small table doing his homework, while his sister sat nearby, scribbling on the drawing book Amelia bought her. One page was filled with colorful pictures, and the next was uncolored. The little one was presently holding a colored pen, scribbling away.
Before long, a few children came over to find Clarence Xenos, asking if he'd like to sneak off with them to watch the opera.
"There's going to be a big opera show soon, with shadow puppets too, just like on TV. Do you want to go?" said a few of the children. These kids were brought by the servants and usually played around the servants' quarters.
