Mr. May looked on in shock at the scene before him. How long had it been since she last had an episode, and yet here she was crying. But he couldn't understand why she was crying—was it because of the little child in her arms?
The little one looked at this strange Granny Taylor holding her, reaching out with tiny hands to somewhat messily wipe away the tears on Mrs. Landon's face, "Don't cry, don't cry, Granny, don't cry..."
After a while, Mrs. Landon finally stopped crying, and the little one's hands ended up covered in Mrs. Landon's tears.
"Such a good child." Mrs. Landon murmured softly, then naturally handed the little one over to Jeremiah.
Jeremiah accepted the child, and thus, it was now him holding the little one.
