"Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! Sister-in-law, your singing is amazing!"
Fang Tongzhou let out a soft sigh.
Only Fang Tongzhou was left standing there. Jiang Jinghuai watched the silhouettes of the mother and son as they walked away, pursing his lips in silence.
"Jing…" Fang Tongzhou managed to utter one word but immediately held back.
"Speak if you have something to say." His tone was as cold as ice.
Fang Tongzhou shivered slightly. "I think Sister-in-law seems to be angry." He glanced at Jiang Jinghuai's expression as he spoke. Since he didn't look furious, Fang gathered his courage to continue. "They say couples argue at the head of the bed but make up at the foot of it. Sister-in-law's such an uninhibited person; just coax her a bit, and it'll be fine."
"Why is she angry?"
"Huh?"
"Why is she angry?" Jiang Jinghuai's deep black eyes bore into him, carrying a hint of doubt that wasn't there on normal days.
