Evie Larkin didn't stay outside for too long, and came back at dinner time.

Jane Quinlan looked at her and nodded with a smile. Regardless of anything, in front of old Mr. Forrest, certain manners had to be maintained; she couldn't just make things difficult for him like Kay Forrest did.
Nolan Moore's worry seemed to have relaxed a bit, as he had been constantly checking his watch since earlier, apparently concerned about her.
Only old Mr. Forrest asked, "Evie is back, huh?"
"Mm, old Mr. Forrest, I'm back," she said with a smile as she walked over to the sofa.
In her hands, she carried a gift box and approached Jane Quinlan, handing the box over to her.
