Nathan stood at the back, listening to Paisley say this, and walked over to stand in front of Damian.
Paisley looked up at her, "Why are you still picking a fight?"
"In-law, I'm not here to fight. I was wrong about last time. I apologize to you and ask for your forgiveness."
Henry glanced sideways at Ivy; it was the first time he'd seen his mom admit she was wrong in front of someone else.
Ivy also gave her a look in return, while Paisley was suddenly puzzled by Nathan's words.
After a brief awkward moment, she mumbled, "What are you all up to here, what's this act about?"
"In the past, I was stubborn and unwilling to change, but I've had some realizations these past few months.
My family fell on hard times, yet Ivy still stuck by Henry. Ivy isn't the girl I thought she was; that was my mistake."
