Kelli carefully lifted her head and lowered her voice:
"It doesn't seem like they've just fought with Demons."
For a moment, the atmosphere in the room fell silent.

"Because it's the... Hunting Day period, that's what it's called, right? There are far more adventurers coming and going than usual. The village is experienced in hosting, so we found a few empty houses for them to stay in for the night. They left at dawn the next day."
