As they approached the Melted Scale Mountain Range, sparse shrubs and grass adorned the blackish-red wasteland.
There was nothing particularly special about it.
This was the most common, most ordinary wasteland.

you could detect that almost invisible blurred figure in the breeze and the tiny grains of sand it stirred up.

The desolate soil's surface pressed down slightly, dust danced up, faintly revealing the outline of a right foot.

you could clearly see this right foot supporting the ground and using strength to move the body forward, completing a step-forward action.
