Her father was an estate manager of a fallen noble family.
Although he was very busy most of the time, often spending the whole day out of sight, the generous rewards for serving the noble "master" allowed their family to live a rather respectable life in the somewhat dull town.
As a child, Vier was very curious about her father's work, not understanding why someone who seemed to just sit in the study could earn far more than the farmers and laborers who toiled under the sun and wind.
To this, her father, who was just over forty at the time but already had streaks of gray hair, naturally wouldn't complain to his most beloved youngest daughter, nor explain what he, his father, his grandfather, along with their entire family, had sacrificed for this job.
