Chapter 86 - Chapter 86 This Woman Is Not Only Delicate but Also Weak

Stone Leclair's illness had been lingering for years. No one could pinpoint exactly when it began. Whenever it flared up, he would become irritable and restless, and no amount of therapy or medication seemed to help.

Eventually, Stone discovered that acts of violence alleviated his symptoms. From then on, he stopped seeing doctors altogether. Whenever the illness struck, he would lock himself at home and wait a few days until it subsided.

This time, Stone remembered that he not only struck Beatrice Carter but seemed to have hit Delphine Carter as well. However, he didn't give it much thought. He got up, changed his clothes, and resumed his usual composed and scholarly appearance.

When he opened the door, two bodyguards standing outside stated blankly, "Master Ignatius said, sir, that you are not well enough to go out yet."

Stone's expression changed as he barked angrily, "Move aside."

The bodyguards stood unwavering.
