Ignatius Leclair's gaze was deep and impenetrable as he waited for Maximilian to reveal the identity of the person in question. Then, from the corner of his eye, he saw Delphine drop a glass water pitcher in the living room. His handsome face immediately darkened, and he quickly stood up and headed out.

Delphine, having just poured water, was a bit absent-minded. The glass pitcher slipped off the edge of the table and shattered on the floor. She froze momentarily, but before she could react, the man had already rushed over and barked, "Don't move!"

Ignatius's strikingly handsome face was dark, as if it could drip water. He stepped onto the shattered glass, scooped her up by the waist, and carried her to the sofa. Lifting the hem of her dress, he examined her snow-white, delicate feet.
