Delphine glanced at the time and stood up, softly persuading Leah: "You should go back and keep searching for Griffith. I still don't believe anything has happened to him. That man has nine lives."
Griffith had been missing for over half a year. Leah knew deep down that even if nothing bad had occurred, he likely wouldn't still be in Europe. But with her two closest people in trouble, it was only natural for her to focus on Delphine in the moment.
"I don't care. If you don't leave with me, then I'll stay here with you. Either way, I could just admit to some random crime and end up in here myself." Leah stubbornly choked out through tears.
"Miss Delphine, Miss Squire." Arthur White was brought in by the prison guard and announced, "Young Master Leclair asked me to inform you of something."
Delphine's face slightly changed, her body tensing up.
