Nicholas Carter thought for a moment and then gave a shy smile, saying brightly, "Mommy works so hard to make money, Nicholas doesn't have anything he especially wants to buy."
Leah was amused by the young boy and rubbed his little head tenderly, saying softly, "Nicholas is really a good child. Auntie will buy the latest adventure series books as a gift for little Nicholas."
Nicholas's eyes instantly lit up; he almost exclaimed with joy, then glanced at Delphine to seek her opinion.
Delphine smiled and nodded.
Only then did Nicholas say happily, "Thank you, Auntie, but I read slowly. You can start by buying just one. I'll finish it and then get another."
Leah laughed and pulled the little boy into her arms, showering him with kisses. Then she turned to Delphine with a smile and said, "In the future, hand over your household's finances to your son. He'll certainly manage them better than you!"
