Griffith Squire waited for an hour for Ignatius Leclair. He smiled faintly, gently lifted Nicholas Carter off his shoulder, kissed him on the cheek, and patted the little guy's head. "Uncle will come pick you and Mommy up tomorrow, okay?"
Nicholas obediently nodded and replied in his clear, childish voice, "Okay, Nicholas will wait for you!"
Griffith gave a devilish yet handsome smile, glanced at Delphine, and asked, "Are you taking my car or Ignatius's car?"
"I'll drive back myself," Delphine replied with a faint smile.
"Alright then."
Griffith watched Delphine take Nicholas into the car and waited until the vehicle drove off into the distance. Then he strode toward the Rolls-Royce, knocked on the car window, and raised an eyebrow with a mocking smile. "I heard you tore up the divorce papers as soon as I returned. Are you that afraid of me?"
