Marcus and Ah Dan returned to the Holiday Village. They didn't even have time to tally up the expenses from their trip to the Imperial City. Irving Spencer's family and Old Man Weng, along with Oliver Zolotov, who hadn't had Marcus' cooking in a week, came rushing in upon hearing the news, crowding the place once more.
"You little rascal, how could you keep such a big thing from us?" Old Man Weng was furious, almost jumping up and down. He wasn't prepared at all, thinking where in this secluded mountain could he buy wedding gifts.
"Exactly, marrying such a beautiful and capable wife, yet you're acting all shy." Oliver Zolotov said with a hearty laugh.
Marcus was unpacking some deliveries from the Imperial City, all of which were wedding-related beddings and such. Caught right in the act, he had to bear the teasing from everyone around.
