Matthew Morgan didn't seem to care at all.
"Three years ago, I was the one who caused that incident, yet you took the blame. I feel extremely guilty." Lucas Morgan sighed, the white smoke twirling at his fingertips, making him look a bit dejected.
It wasn't just what happened three years ago... there were many things Matthew Morgan did for Chloe Grant, but they were all attributed to Lucas Morgan in the end.
Matthew Morgan told Lucas, "She's too playful, she needs someone to look after her. If she knew I was good to her, she wouldn't listen to my discipline next time."
"The past is past, no need to mention it." Matthew Morgan responded coldly, as if it was no big deal at all.
Lucas couldn't understand, how was this no big deal?
Because of that incident, Matthew was gone for three years!
