Gu Ningyi walked into the Black Pool's private room, which was empty and extremely quiet, with no music playing. Only Yuan Shen sat on the sofa drinking.
Gu Ningyi stepped closer; many bottles were already strewn around the table.
Yuan Shen leaned his body, raised the glass in his hand toward Gu Ningyi, grinned, and said, "Our Mr. Gu is here."
Gu Ningyi's dark eyes glanced at him indifferently, said nothing, and sat directly on the sofa. He picked up a wine glass, poured himself a drink, and downed it in one go.
Yuan Shen looked at him, smiled again, then lazily spoke, "Yi, are you really getting engaged to Yuan Shi?"
Yuan Shi was his twin; she was born a few seconds before him and held the title of older sister, but he never liked admitting he was the younger brother, always addressing Yuan Shi by her name.
Gu Ningyi paused while pouring the wine, then continued, filled it up, took a big gulp, and finally replied, "Yeah."
