Lily Turner's expression was very serious, and Easton Holmes was puzzled and uneasy. He didn't know what she wanted to talk to him about, making the atmosphere so tense.
"If you want to talk, then talk. Why keep such a straight face? It's not pretty!" He lifted his hand to tug at her tense face, as if trying to get her to relax a bit, but it was not very effective.
"Don't move around. I'm not here to tell you jokes, you should be a bit more serious too." Lily removed his hand from her cheek, worried that it would act up again, she held onto it tightly not letting go.
"What do you want to talk to me about?"
Easton had never seen Lily so serious before; thinking of the thing with her mom coming to see her earlier in the morning, the unease in his heart began to intensify.
