Watching the few people drinking together, Alice Turner felt quite superfluous and suddenly had the urge to leave this place.
In fact, the idea of leaving had occurred to her when she learned that Lily Turner wasn't coming, but now the urge had grown even stronger.
Alice Turner quietly tugged on Benjamin Shaw's sleeve, and when he felt someone pulling his sleeve, Benjamin turned his head to look. Seeing it was her sitting beside him, he asked puzzledly, "What's up?"
By this time, Benjamin Shaw had already drunk several glasses, and his breath carried a strong smell of alcohol. Alice Turner uncomfortably frowned and instinctively moved a little away.
"I want to leave early." She paused, expressing her desire to leave.
"Okay."
Benjamin Shaw just gave a soft "okay," considering it his response to the matter.
Alice Turner had grown accustomed to Benjamin Shaw's indifferent attitude, and although she felt uncomfortable, she didn't say anything and stood up with her bag.
