"You take the call, I'll go over and eat."
As Easton Holmes answered the phone, Lily Turner took the opportunity to get up and sit in the adjacent seat. After sitting down, she naturally took away the bowl of rice in front of him and started eating with a spoon at the same time.
Glancing at the woman who was eating, Easton Holmes answered the phone, "My issue has been resolved. You guys can drink to your heart's content now."
The call was from Ryan Taylor. Without waiting for him to say anything, Easton already knew the situation, so he reassuringly spoke first to put his brothers at ease at the bar.
What he didn't expect was that his good brother doubted his statement.
"Solved so quickly? Is that true or not?" Ryan Taylor was skeptical, with more doubt than belief.
Easton instinctively looked at Lily Turner, raised an eyebrow, and said, "Do you not trust my intelligence? Or do you doubt my capability?"
