Early the next morning, Alice Turner got up and started her morning routine. After freshening up, she went downstairs to have breakfast. Only after she was full did she leave the hotel.
After leaving the hotel, she went to a supermarket. She bought some ingredients she would need for lunch. Since it was still early, she decided to stop by the bookstore not far from the supermarket.
Alice Turner spent almost an hour reading in the bookstore. When she felt it was about time, she left the bookstore and drove straight to the Military District Compound.
Alice Turner arrived at the Military District Compound, and Lily Turner was already waiting at the gate. When she saw Alice's car, she quickly waved at her.
"Did you come out early?"
Lily Turner had just opened the car door on the passenger side. Before she got in, she heard Alice turn her way and ask.
While getting into the car, she replied, "I just came out too."
As she spoke, she settled into her seat.
"Put on your seatbelt."
