Benjamin Shaw took out his phone from his pocket and saw that Christopher Turner was calling. He hesitated for a moment, but although he was reluctant, he finally answered the call.
"Hello!"
Even though the person on the other end was his father-in-law, he felt as if the caller was a stranger, and he unconsciously sounded a bit distant when he spoke.
"Benjamin! Why don't you and Alice come by the house tonight? Alice's sister and her brother-in-law Easton Holmes are coming over, and you should join in on the fun."
Compared to Benjamin Shaw's cold and distant demeanor, Christopher Turner was enthusiastic and familiar, and he deliberately mentioned Easton Holmes' full name to ensure Benjamin and Alice would come by the house.
What he didn't know was that his two sons-in-law had been good friends for over ten years.
