Isla Lane was determined to make him leave, and Thomas Fisher had already figured it out from before; he knew her true reason well.
"Uncle Alex! Aunt Isla! You both can rest assured; I definitely won't drink too much, and I won't delay tomorrow's matters either." Thomas Fisher nudged Isla Lane, who was standing by his side, urging her to return to her seat, "Aunt Isla! Please go back to your seat. I just want to chat a bit more with Uncle Chris, I won't drink anymore."
She didn't say it outright, so he had to play dumb.
Isla Lane wasn't aware that Thomas Fisher had already seen through her real intentions. Seeing him so stubbornly oblivious, she felt like dousing his head with a basin of cold water to wake him up.
She wanted him to understand that the woman he was entangled with was his good brother's wife.
But looking at the other guests in the private room, she instantly suppressed this impulsive thought.
