Both Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner picked up their phones, and each had many missed calls. Among those missed calls, there were two numbers that appeared on both of their phones.
These two identical numbers, though labeled differently in their phones, belonged to the same person.
"Did my mom call you yesterday?" Alice Turner ignored the other missed calls and focused first on the call from her mother-in-law, Autumn York.
"She called more than once."
