During her lunch break, Alice decided to sacrifice her eating time to visit Benjamin Shaw in the hospital.
"Sis! We're so in sync, let's go, I'm treating you to a great meal." Just as Alice stepped out of the office door, she ran into Anthony who came to call for her.
Anthony was in high spirits because Eleanor Gower had agreed to come to Flame City. His entire demeanor appeared particularly upbeat.
"Go have your fancy meal yourself, I'm heading to the hospital." Alice was solely focused on getting to the hospital quickly to see Benjamin, so that Isla Lane would stop bugging her with calls. She didn't notice Anthony's unusually enthusiastic mood at all.
