It seemed she noticed someone staring at her, as Song Xi suddenly turned her head towards Song Qiao, only to sink into a frown when she saw her, "Song Qiao, why is it you?"
The boy who was originally about to pick out a cake for Song Xi also stopped in his tracks upon hearing her voice and turned to look at Song Qiao, then he walked straight back to Song Xi's side.
Song Qiao, however, remained unfazed, her eyebrows lifted slightly, and a subtle smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, a smile that seemed both mocking and not, "Why can't it be me? This cake shop isn't yours, after all."
Running into Song Xi at the cake shop was just too much.
"Song Qiao, you..." Song Xi's face alternated between shades of red and white as she realized how foolish her earlier question had been. She didn't know how to retaliate, so she could only glare at Song Qiao with obvious hatred in her eyes.
