After replying to each message, she finally exited WeChat, opened Weibo, and at around nine-thirty, re-entered the WeChat interface, found Ye Xinluo's WeChat, and dialed a video call over. Given the time difference of about twelve hours between America and City Z, it was nighttime here, so it should be morning over there.
The phone rang for quite a while, and who knows what Xinluo was busy with; it was only picked up just before it was about to hang up. On the other end, it was pitch black. She frowned and asked, somewhat puzzled, "Xinluo, what are you doing?"
A few seconds later, Ye Xinluo's voice came through, seemingly a bit far from the phone, so the voice was a little faint, "I'm washing my face, just a moment."
