Zhao Minmin's entry into the entertainment industry was a matter of chance.
Growing up in the countryside, she knew that studying was the only way out. Moreover, with her good looks, if she didn't work hard to gain some leverage, she would just be married off by her parents to some old man either unable to find a wife or whose wife had already died, in exchange for money.
Zhao Minmin was ambitious, how could she possibly agree to that?

Fortunately, Zhao Minmin's brother Zhao Chenggang, though appearing as a delinquent, had great faith in his sister, who was much smarter than him. Back then, he had spent time in prison for fighting, brawling, and accidentally killing someone.
After coming out, he couldn't find a decent job, so he followed his much younger sister's lead.
