Bai Zhi'er blinked her big eyes.
"Grandpa Gao, why don't you keep half for yourself and give the other half to Big Yellow?"
Old Man Gao laughed heartily, "I'm not the one who almost got bitten to death by the bear, it's Big Yellow."
He sighed deeply, "If it weren't for Big Yellow barking to warn me, I might have died!"
Bai Zhi'er watched Big Yellow gnawing on the bear paw, a sweet smile blooming on her little face.
"So Big Yellow is so well-behaved, protecting the house and finding people too!"
She took out some jerky from her little pouch, pitter-pat running over.
"Protecting the master is every dog's duty. You did a great job, here's something for you to eat."
Her small hand pinched the jerky, handing it to Big Yellow.
Big Yellow sniffed it, and immediately devoured it, soon finishing the whole piece of jerky.
It stood up, sniffed Bai Zhi'er with its nose, and its tail wagged happily behind.
