Sang Ning was jolted awake.
The driver executed a violent brake, causing Sang Ning's body to lurch forward from inertia, wedging herself between the back and front seats of the car.
Groaning in pain, Sang Ning slowly climbed back up, rubbing her head. She stared at the driver with an annoyed expression and said, "If you can't drive, maybe you should let someone else take over!"
"Sorry, sorry, my mistake." The driver turned his head back, apologizing profusely with an embarrassed look on his face.
Sang Ning shot him a disdainful look and snorted heavily through her nose, speechless.
His job was obviously to kidnap her, yet somehow, he was surprisingly polite.
Before the driver could get out of the car, someone from outside opened the door. The newcomer had a menacing face, his expression devoid of any friendliness. Without saying a word, he brandished a burlap sack and thrust it over Sang Ning's head.
Here we go again!
