Sang Ning was just casually bluffing Lian Qi. Her hunch that Lian Qi liked Wei Lejun was purely speculation, but Lian Qi's clearly stunned reaction for a split second confirmed her guess.
"Wei Lejun and that mouth of hers! Any guy who meets her would have to kneel and beg for mercy. She's like a tomboy—who could possibly like her?!" After snapping out of it, Lian Qi immediately belittled Wei Lejun like she was worthless.
If not for the faint flush creeping up his ears giving him away, Sang Ning might have actually believed him.
But this guy was clearly the type to refuse to admit anything, so even if he did like Wei Lejun, there was no chance he'd confess so easily.
