Me: Do you want it?
This sentence, uttered with Chi Cheng's dangerously handsome face, was an instant knockout.
An Ran quickly lowered her head. "I need to do my homework."
Yet Chi Cheng showed no intention of leaving and simply stared at her for a long moment like that.
She hadn't turned on the main light—only the desk lamp illuminated the surroundings.
Under the light was her small face, feigning seriousness as she worked on her exercises.
But as she wrote, it became increasingly evident that her breathing was speeding up, and her ears were gradually turning red.
Chi Cheng chuckled softly, finally shifting his fixed gaze from her. Then, straightening up, he spoke in a voice brimming with temptation, "Turning eighteen soon, Little An Ran—are you ready to step into the adult world?"
It was clearly just a completely normal sentence.
Yet somehow, An Ran heard a trace of ambiguous undertone in it...
"Brother, I really need to do my homework."
