Chapter 203 - Chapter 203

Well done, Black Zetsu."

Uchiha Shin placed his hand on Black Zetsu's head, the slimy, amorphous texture feeling oddly satisfying beneath his fingers. Then, without a second glance, he summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and tossed an entire containment jar into its gaping maw. The One-Tailed Beast inside had barely been reborn before being captured again—such was its fate.

Watching from his spectral state, Kaguya Otsutsuki was delighted at how quickly Uchiha Shin had acquired another tailed beast. If she had a physical form, she might have rewarded him in her own twisted way.

"Black Zetsu, tell me the locations of the remaining tailed beasts. And as for the Akatsuki, I don't want them meddling in this war anymore. Their only focus should be capturing the remaining tailed beasts."

Uchiha Shin stretched out his left palm, and in an instant, a chunk of flesh tore itself from his hand, dropping onto the ground with a sickening squelch.

"Forbidden Jutsu: Eight-Headed Chimera Spawn."

The bloodied mass pulsed and expanded, rapidly taking shape. Within moments, a tall, ethereal woman with flowing white hair and piercing golden eyes stood before them. She was beautiful in an unsettling way, her form radiating an eerie presence that mirrored the Otsutsuki clan's divine blood.

Her strength had already reached beyond that of a Kage—her body infused with enhanced chakra reserves, physical prowess, and several Kekkei Genkai, including Wood Release. A terrifying weapon molded from his own flesh.

She turned to Black Zetsu, inclining her head slightly, acknowledging him as her superior for the mission.

Black Zetsu, despite his usual composed nature, felt a flicker of something almost resembling envy. Unlike him—an imperfect creation rushed into existence—this woman was crafted meticulously, powerful, whole.

But there was no time for jealousy. The hunt for the tailed beasts continued, and Black Zetsu, now accompanied by the dragon-like woman, vanished into the shadows.

"Master… should I accompany you as well?"

Uchiha Shin turned his gaze to Guren, the kunoichi standing before him with hopeful anticipation.

He chuckled, the amusement clear in his tone. "You're not strong enough yet. Stay by my side and be useful in other ways."

Reaching out, he ruffled her hair in a condescending yet strangely affectionate manner. Guren clenched her fists, her pride bruised, but she understood the truth in his words. For now, she was nothing more than a servant, but she would change that.

Determined, she threw herself into training, constantly pestering Uchiha Shin to guide her in developing her Kekkei Genkai. Shin, having already analyzed and perfected the Crystal Release, found amusement in her persistence.

By making her consume distilled natural energy—freshly extracted from unwilling test subjects—her strength rapidly increased. Within days, her physique had noticeably improved, and her chakra control had sharpened. She had ascended to the level of a full-fledged Jonin, though she still had a long way to go.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Shin led his forces through the Land of Rice, systematically dismantling the remnants of Kara's secret operations. Resistance was futile. They either perished or bent the knee. The Fuma Clan, once proud warriors of the Land of Rice, chose the latter.

The world was beginning to understand one undeniable truth—Uchiha Shin had returned.

And he had no intention of hiding his ambitions. He led the Fire Nation into outright annexation, beginning with the Land of Rice. The daimyo was replaced with a puppet ruler under Shin's thumb.

Under the lure of money and power, the Akatsuki abandoned any pretense of their former ideals. With Yahiko long dead and their ranks flooded with missing-nin, they had devolved into nothing more than elite mercenaries.

They sold their blades to the highest bidder—and right now, the highest bidder was Uchiha Shin.

The other major villages—Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Sunagakure—held an emergency summit to discuss the growing threat. Rasa, the Fourth Kazekage, looked particularly worn down. The Wind Country had already lost significant territory, and if Shin had not momentarily shifted focus, Sunagakure would have fallen completely.

To make matters worse, the woman they had betrayed—Pakura—had returned, now a vengeful spirit of flame and death. She cut through Sand shinobi without mercy, her hatred fueling her actions. Rasa regretted not eliminating her sooner.

In a desperate bid, the three Kage strategized a final stand.

Onoki, the aged yet formidable Tsuchikage, spoke first. "Uchiha Shin has led the Fire Nation into an unstoppable march. We cannot rely on supply chains anymore. If we do not act decisively, we are finished."

The Third Raikage, a mountain of muscle and raw power, slammed his fist against the table. "His goal is clear—he seeks the Nine Tailed Beasts to create the Ten-Tails. We will not allow that to happen."

Rasa, weary but calculating, nodded. "No matter our differences, our survival depends on stopping him now."

And so, they devised a strategy—one final battle that would determine the fate of the world.

They would use their Jinchūriki as bait. The vessels of their tailed beasts would be positioned in a carefully set trap, luring Uchiha Shin to a battleground of their choosing. Then, they would unleash the full force of their armies, scientific ninja tools, and their own Kage-level might.

This battle would end the legend of Uchiha Shin.

Or so they hoped.

Unbeknownst to them, deep underground, Black Zetsu had already overheard every word of their conversation.

Slithering through the darkness, he swiftly returned to his master, who was inspecting a massive, ominous box.

"Father, the Kage are planning to eliminate you."

Uchiha Shin barely glanced at him. "Oh? Let's hear it."

Black Zetsu relayed the plan in detail, while Shin absentmindedly examined the colossal artifact before him.

The Box of Ultimate Bliss—an ancient construct from an era long forgotten, supposedly left behind by the Sage of Six Paths himself. Discovered in the ruins of Ghost Lantern City, it had been retrieved after Shin's forces crushed the resistance in the Land of Grass.

At first, he thought it was a relic of immense power, but upon closer examination, he found it to be nothing more than an overhyped construct of Yin Release.

It did not grant wishes, as the myths claimed. Instead, it consumed those who opened it, transforming them into monstrous entities driven by pure instinct.

Uncontrollable, unreliable, and ultimately, useless to him.

"Disappointing," Shin muttered, stepping away from the artifact.

His focus now shifted to the upcoming war. The Kage believed they could entrap him, but they were only hastening their own demise.

He smirked. "Let them gather their forces. Let them bring their Jinchūriki. It won't change anything."

Shin cracked his knuckles, his Sharingan glowing with amusement.

"This world belongs to me"
