Chapter 130 - Chapter 1230 The One that existed before the birth of concepts—I need a sharp blade.

At this moment, Ling Yuxian's heart was filled with great unease and a sense of something being amiss.

Ling Yuling, however, smiled again but did not continue speaking.

The reason she had risked revealing these things to Ling Yuxian today was that she had noticed Ling Yuxian seemed to harbor some inexplicable fondness for Gu Changge.

This was not a good thing.

There were many things she dared not say further, as even she only had some speculations and did not dare to dwell on them, for they were too unbelievable and terrifying.

All she could do now was pretend to know nothing, do what needed to be done, and avoid revealing any flaws or cracks.

Ling Yuxian was very intelligent, and after hearing these things, she would surely understand what to do next.

"What exactly is Senior Brother Gu's origin?

"Fortunately, he harbors no ill will toward the Imperial Immortal Palace, otherwise the outcome of this journey to the Land of Eternal Life would have been uncertain."

Ling Yuxian frowned deeply, then sighed and temporarily set the matter aside.

Regardless of Gu Changge's origins, at least from the current situation, he was not an enemy.

"It's time for us to return to the Imperial Immortal Palace."

Ling Yuxian withdrew the barrier and said nothing more on the matter.

Next, she would return to the Imperial Immortal Palace to enter seclusion for a period of time, hoping to restore even one percent of her peak strength. Only then would she have the qualifications to preside over the Imperial Immortal Palace and look down upon the current Prime-Origin Civilization.

Many of the Imperial Immortal Palace's elders had been staying with the Jing Clan during this time, with only a few senior elders leading the others back to the Imperial Immortal Palace.

The events that had occurred in the Sheng Yang Ancient Domain during this period had already alarmed the various forces of the Prime-Origin Civilization.

She could already imagine the storm the Imperial Immortal Palace would face next. Many forces would not sit still and would send people to inquire and find out what had happened.

Now that the Imperial Immortal Palace was gradually declining, she had learned from several elders that even the Demon Court of the Endless Demon Domain no longer regarded the Imperial Immortal Palace with respect.

If she did not step forward to stabilize the situation, the Imperial Immortal Palace's position would likely become even more difficult.

The reappearance of the Jing Clan in the world would also attract the attention of various forces, which could divert some attention away from the Imperial Immortal Palace.

Of course, this was not what Ling Yuling was most concerned about.

In that dark space, before the Eternal Spirit disappeared, the things it had said were still fresh in her mind.

She also did not believe the Eternal Spirit would lie.

But now that the Gate of Eternal Life was in Gu Changge's hands, Ling Yuling could only hope that she was overthinking and had guessed wrong.

Otherwise, the entire Prime-Origin Civilization, no, the entire Vast Expanse, would not remain peaceful.

Meanwhile, after bidding farewell to Ling Yuxian and the others, Jing Tianyun dismissed the elders and then went alone to the courtyard where Gu Changge had been cultivating these past few days.

The courtyard was shrouded in a misty haze, resembling a chaotic space-time. Not only were the heavenly secrets in disarray, but even the laws of heaven and earth were fragmented and incomplete.

An ancient gate, seemingly cast from bronze, stood in the courtyard.

Its edges were entwined with chaotic energy and grand dao runes, exuding an aura of ancient vicissitudes.

A mass of black light, flickering and unstable, floated above the gate, giving off a profound and deep feeling.

Gu Changge sat calmly on a stone stool, pouring himself a drink, not speaking.

After entering the courtyard, Jing Tianyun first glanced at the black mist floating above the Gate of Eternal Life, then respectfully looked at Gu Changge.

"Master, I have already spoken the words you instructed me to say. They did not react much."

He spoke respectfully.

"It's only right that they didn't react much."

Gu Changge set down his cup, his expression casual and unperturbed.

"Master, why didn't you just let me devour them and have them be baptized by darkness? Wouldn't that have been more straightforward?"

A sinister laugh suddenly came from the black mist above the Gate of Eternal Life, filled with deep malice and a sneer.

It was the complete Eternal Spirit.

The remnant of the Eternal Spirit that had fought with Ling Yuling in the dark space had sensed Gu Changge's arrival and, following his instructions, had hidden back inside the Gate of Eternal Life.

Afterward, Gu Changge personally refined the seal within the Gate of Eternal Life, releasing all of its true form.

These past few days, it had been hiding here, still attached to the Gate of Eternal Life.

Gu Changge glanced at it and casually said, "They still have other uses for me. Now is not the most opportune time."

The Eternal Spirit, tainted by dark energy, had this kind of personality, so he did not mind it.

Aside from the Gate of Eternal Life, he now held two other Supreme Treasures of Civilization: the Book of Scavenging and the Orb of Great Vow.

However, these two treasures were not the original Supreme Treasures of Civilization.

They were replicas forged by later civilizations based on the blueprints of the original six Supreme Treasures of Civilization from countless ages ago.

Gu Changge intended to reforge the Orb of Great Vow, but the materials needed were not yet fully gathered.

He was waiting for news from Luo Xiangjun. The relics of the Eternal Primordial God would surely contain the necessary materials.

The Orb of Great Vow had the ability to refine and collect the fortune and faith power of all heavens.

Gu Changge needed it to condense Creation Substance and Immortal Substance.

He also intended to refine the Orb of Great Vow into the Supreme Treasure of Civilization of the Dao Prosperity True World, creating a world within a world. He planned to move and integrate the headquarters of the Heaven-Slaying Alliance, including the divine kingdoms of the upper realm, into it.

With the Orb of Great Vow refining Creation Substance and Immortal Substance, the world within a world he created could one day become a true Transcendent Great World.

When he became the sole ruler of the Realm of Origin, the merging of the Transcendent Great World and the Realm of Origin would inevitably give rise to unimaginable changes, becoming the only one before and after the concept of all ages.

Moreover, nourished by Creation Substance and Immortal Substance, those around him would naturally gain infinite benefits.

After all, Creation Substance and Immortal Substance were the essence of all material development and evolution in the myriad worlds.

With enough Creation Substance and Immortal Substance, even if all worlds were destroyed, all ages turned to ruins, the Realm of Origin collapsed, and everything returned to zero, with all concepts of matter and life reverting to chaos and nothingness,

Gu Changge could still recreate and evolve everything anew.

"Master, what are your plans next?"

Jing Tianyun's question interrupted Gu Changge's thoughts.

He snapped out of his reverie and looked outside the courtyard, casually saying, "I intend to target the Immortal Chu Dynasty, but I will likely need to visit Purple Mist Mountain as well. However, before that, you should first bring the Jing Clan back into the world, letting the Prime-Origin Civilization know of their existence.

"I need a sharp knife to handle some matters for me."
