Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Transfer Students-(02)

I pointed the lightsword at his chest and, in a cold, calculated voice. "Next are your legs."

Freed's expression was a mixture of shock and pain. "A fallen and one with 3 pairs at least." He was staring at the sword made out of pure light.

"Looks like you did your homework, but that won't help you now." I retorted. In a blur, I was now behind him before he could move; one of his legs was sliced off.

"Aaaaaaaagh!" He exclaimed, but before he could even fall, a body slammed into him with enough force that it sent him flying into some chairs. As the dust cleared, I saw Kalawarner in a messed-up state, slumped on top of Freed. I looked over at Trihexa, where she was messing with Millet and Raynare, clearly holding back with a big toothy grin.

Kalawarner groaned as she got on her knees. "Freed! Tch, you couldn't even keep a stupid human at bay." She was clearly irritated.

"That...is no...human." Freed managed to say weakly between laboured breaths.

"Wha-" Kalawarner looked puzzled until her gaze landed on me, standing there calmly waiting for them to get up. (Even though Freed now had one leg and is probably about to bleed to death.)

"Impossible, how can a human wield a sword made out of pure light?" Kalawarner spat out surprise and irritation mixed into one facial expression.

"Are you done?" I asked, unbothered by her surprise. Even though on the inside I was smug. "Get off my prey."

She looked a bit shocked. "Are you saying I am irrelevant?" Her shock then morphed to anger in a matter of seconds. "Just because you can wield light doesn't mean you're above me."

She flew towards me at above-average speed. However, she was still too slow for me, as I tilted my body to the side, allowing her momentum to carry her. Then, as she passed me, I kicked her upwards in the stomach(holding back most of my strength), causing her to spit out blood before flying towards the ceiling. She hit the ceiling hard and started to plummet towards the ground, but I met her halfway and delivered a kick, sending her towards Raynare. They collided and flew into the podium.

I landed and then slowly approached Freed, who looked seconds away from losing consciousness. "Let me return the favor you were going to give Asia and free you from your suffering."

"Get away from me, you monster," Freed said, his voice shaking as he tried to crawl away with his remaining hand.

"I thought fallen angels were still creations of God. When did we become monsters?" I asked with amusement in my voice, but I didn't give him a chance to answer and just pushed the sword in his heart, ending him.

A stray priest then walked from the basement through a door. "Miss Raynare, are you done wi-" He stopped as he saw the situation where Millet was knocked unconscious, Raynare and Kalawaner were getting their asses handed to them by a nine-tailed kitsune. Before he could react, I was next to him. He looked at me with terrified eyes, which then landed on Freed's corpse behind me.

I smiled at him. "Is there anyone else down there? A fallen angel, perhaps?" I asked with a clear, cold voice.

"WERE UNDER ATTACK!!" The stray priest shouted, causing me to sigh and decapitate him.

"Hexa, hurry up and kill them, we have company," I said as I looked over my shoulder to see Kalawaner with a hole where her heart used to be lying on the floor, while Raynare was looking at Trihexa like she was seeing a ghost, while sitting in a puddle that kept increasing slowly. Did she piss herself? Trihexa was standing in front of her with that toothy grin.

"The hunt was fun, but now we have more prey, so see ya," Trihexa said, and pushed her hand through Raynare's chest and took out her heart.

As soon as Raynare's body hit the ground, we felt a rumble as all the people underground were coming up. The first figure to appear was Dohnaseek, who quickly scanned the room with his face contorting at the sight of his dead comrades.

"Who are you? Why are you attacking us?" He asked with anger in his voice.

"Fuck the reason, let's just kill them." One of the priests shouted.

"Yeah, they killed Freed and the others." Another added.

"I call dibs on the fallen angel," I called out to Trihexa.

"Aaaw~ Not fair." Trihexa pouted playfully.

"Suck it," I replied teasingly.

"With pleasure~" She retorted in a seductive voice.

--Candy--

"Have any of you gotten anything from Dan or Hexa?" Asia asked as she looked towards Candy. Candy looked away from the TV to her phone. "Nada." She said and went back to watch TV unbothered.

"Why aren't you concerned?" Asia asked. "It's almost 7 and they aren't back." She stated, trying to reinforce her point.

"They will be alright," Elira assured without looking away from her phone.

"Yeah, I am sure in a few seconds the door will open and they will walk through," Candy added while looking at Asia. Just then, a golden circle lit up behind the couch. "Or a circle will open." Candy looked a little smug for almost being right.

Trihexa and Dan walked through. Trihexa was grinning, and Dan was smiling in satisfaction; it would have been misunderstood if they weren't covered in blood.

"Oh my God, I-is t-that blood?" Asia asked while looking concerned.

"Don't worry, it's not ours," Dan said while stepping out of the circle.

"Really?" Asia asked, her concern fading before spiking again. "Wait, did you just kill someone?"

"Yeah, a lot of people." Trihexa teased to mess with Asia.

--Dan--

"I gotta take a shower." I turned and headed for the stairs, then for the master bedroom. After taking off my clothes, I entered the shower and opened the shower and felt relaxed as the cold water hit me. But a system notification chimed in.

{Milestone complete: Raynare and Asia! Reward: 100points! 2000yen.}

'What? System, what is this milestone?' I asked with a raised brow.

[Milestone completion is when you reach and pass a major event in the storyline. You will receive some stat points and money corresponding to that world.]

'Cool, so no need for jobs.' I was pleased by the revelation. After a while, I entered another section of the bathroom, which had a bathtub filled with warm water. I relaxed, but then I immediately tensed as I heard the bathroom door open and then close. The shower was then opened for a while.

'The fuck! Wait, is this the bathtub scene.' Just the thought of that made me somehow hard. The shower then stopped, and I heard wet footstep getting closer, and then Trihexa entered the bathtub section with a satisfied smile on her face.

"Care if I join you?" She asked, already coming closer.

"Would you take no for an answer?" I teased.

"Nope." She answered, emphasising the 'p' as she stepped into the bathtub with her back facing me, and then sat down in front of me.

"Oh, already hard?" She teased as my dick touched her ass when she sat between my legs. "Did hearing me shower make you like this?" She turned her head a bit to look into my eyes.

I gulped loudly because the way she asked that was sexy as fuck. "Yeah."

She chuckled lightly and then looked forward while leaning on my chest to be more comfortable.

"Hey Hex, I never asked, are you good in school since we start tomorrow?" I broke the comfortable silence. Trihexa stiffened at my question.

"Do we have to study?" She asked in a low voice, sounding embarrassed.

"Yes, we will spend this month studying in kouh, so you have to study seriously," I answered, more amused than stern.

"Well, I am not good at most human subjects. But maybe math and art I can manage." She said her voice grew more confident towards the end.

"Math?" I repeated, surprised as I was, that it was a hard subject.

"Yeah, because I was part of the first family in my clan, I had to know math, and art is something I picked up somewhere between the lessons." She explained.

"First family as in head of the clan?" I asked, my surprise growing with every sentence.

"Yeah, I never told you?" She asked sheepishly.

"No, you never brought it up, and I never pushed it," I told her.

"Oh, well, my mother was head of the clan, and my older brother was the heir," Trihexa recalled with a sad smile on her face, which made me hug her.

"Sorry for bringing it up," I said while hugging her closer with guilt in my voice.

"It's okay, I feel like a burden I didn't know I was carrying has been lifted off my shoulders." She reassured me while putting her hand over mine.

"Anyway." Her tone then lifted. "I can't be the only one who shares."

I thought for a moment. "My family was an ordinary one, two parents who were government workers and my twin brother."

"Don't you think your parents miss you?" She asked with curiosity in her voice.

"My parents passed away two years before I was spirited away," I said with a shrug. "I already got over it."

"What about your brother?" She asked.

"He is in your world. Well, my new home world. And besides, we talk through telepathy," I answered with a warm smile.

She nodded and didn't add anything. After a while of silence, she broke it. "We should probably go have some dinner and get to bed."

I nodded. "Sure." After getting dressed, we headed downstairs to eat some dinner. The girls had ordered since they couldn't cook.

"You girls really need to learn how to cook," I said, shaking my head.

"I can cook," Asia reassured me.

"Thanks, Asia, but for now you are a guest and I won't have a guest cook," I told her sternly, then turned back to the other girls who were devouring their ramen.

"Did you know in Japanese schools, cooking is a class?" I asked, causing Trihexa to choke on her ramen.

"*Cough cough* What? No one told me that before I signed up!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah! I want a refund!" Candy joined her in the protest.

"What refund? You never paid a cent." I brought her back to reality.

"Well, in my defence, there is no need for a princess to cook," Elira said while looking like a kid trying to buy her way out of trouble with a chocolate bar.

"Yeah, A noble woman of my status, so no need to learn how to cook." Candy also backed her up as they were in the same hierarchy.

"So did I." Trihexa also backed it up.

"..."

"What do you mean, princess and noble woman?" Asia asked her green eyes flickering from Elira to Candy and Trihexa.

"Oh, where I come from, I was the king's daughter," Elira explained her part.

"And I was the daughter of a noble." Candy also explained her part.

"I was the daughter of the head of our clan." Trihexa said while puffing out her chest, which caused the two 'noble' women to look at her, shocked.

"Wait, really?" Candy asked with her expression a mixture of disbelief and shock as she turned to Trihexa.

"No way!" Elira also looked shocked.

"Why do you make it feel like I never talked about myself in all our journey?" Trihexa asked, her expression faltering.

"Well, you never did," Elira said as she finished her ramen.

"Anyway, we should go to bed. We have a long and boring day tomorrow." I shivered down my spine at the thought of going back to school.

They all nodded after we finished. We headed to our room, and Asia headed to hers on the other side of the corridor.

--Next day--

I woke up still drowsy and headed to the bathroom to get ready. I left the girls in bed. When I was done, I went to prepare breakfast for them, and after some time, Asia joined me already in her school uniform.

"How does this look?" She asked as she did a little twirl.

I chuckled lightly. "You look cute, be careful, and don't break all the boys' poor hearts."

"Thanks." She beamed with joy at the compliment, even though she blushed a bit at the last part. One by one, the girls came down already dressed, looking for compliments, which I gave them. We had breakfast and headed to school.

"God, my heart is pounding so much it's almost killing me," I complained as we were on the way.

"Who knew a being from another world, destined to be a hero and an eight-winged fallen angel, could feel anxious?" Elira teased.

"Technically, you are a being from another world, as this is my home turf." I retorted. "And before I became all that, I was a normal kid, of course, and I feel anxious about school." Asia's eyes gave off a flicker of confusion as we talked about other worlds, but she didn't ask, thankfully, and I resolved to tell her everything if the girls are okay with it.

As we neared the school, students started to increase, and we drew more than a couple of curious glances. We entered the school and split up, going to our assigned classes. Asia and Candy headed to the first year class in Koneko's class, Trihexa headed to the third year class, where she had class with some of Sona's peerage members, and finally, Elira and I headed to the second year class.

We waited outside for the teacher to call us in. "You may come in now." Her voice rang out, and I held my breath as we entered and stood in front of the class. Elira was calm and composed as she was raised in the spotlight due to being royalty.

"Hello, my name is Elira Downson. I am a transfer student from America. I hope we get along." She finished with a bow, the class clapped, and then all eyes turned to me.

I smiled warmly. "Sup, name is Danny Rones, but you can call me Dan, pleasure to make your acquaintance." I also finished with a bow. Some girls started whispering to each other, but I heard them.

"He's cute." One girl said to her friend.

"You owe me twenty." Another said. But the gossip didn't settle with the girls only, as the boys also started.

"Damn, look at that girl." One voice said.

"She's very prim and proper." Another said.

"Look at those c-cups." Another comment caught my attention. I turned my head towards the voice to see Kenji Motohama and the other members of the perverted trio looking at Elira with lust in their eyes(It was even visible through Motohama's glasses.), except Issei, who looked terrified as he knew our power and my deal with Ddraig.

"U-um, guys, if I were you, I would shut up." Issei tried to dissuade them.

"Why?" Matsuda asks, looking at him weirdly.

"Are you sick?" Motohama's face turned somewhat concerned. "We need to find you some good porn to watch so that you can feel better."

"Wha-no, I am fine, it's just that..." He hesitated a bit, looking at me.

All that happened in a span of seconds. "Alright enough, you can go take your seats in the back of the class." The teacher calmed everyone down, then showed us our seats. I smirked on the inside at my earlier anxiety as I held Elira's hand in front of the whole class and headed to our seats. This caused an uproar.

"No way they're dating!" one girl exclaimed, shock and frustration smeared in one.

"Why are the good ones always taken?" Another voice followed. But then again, the guys weren't any better.

"I hate him already." A guy exclaimed.

"It's not like you had a chance anyway." His friend told him.

"That's why," Issei told his friends, who were as shocked as the rest of the class.

"Wait, Issei, how did you know they were dating?" Matsuda asked as he broke from his trance first.

"Do you know them?" Motohama also broke free and questioned.

"Well, I met them two days ago, and trust me, the revelation has just begun," Issei told them with a grin at the last part.

Matsuda looked confused. "What do you mean?"

"You'll know when the time comes, and trust me, it is real soon." His grin widened while the duo just grew more confused. Again, this took a couple of seconds as the teacher clapped twice to get our attention, even though she had a look of amusement on her face.

I was now seated in the seat every otaku is familiar with, the last seat near the window-the protagonist's seat. The teacher continued her lesson, but I zoned it out and focused on the people playing in the fields with one thought in mind.

'Who the fuck arranged this schedule? How do you have sports lessons first?' (A/N: Okay, those were two, but you get the point.)

I endured the rest of the lesson until it was lunchtime. We had agreed to have lunch in the ORC. When the teacher left, Elira and I walked towards Issei's seat.

"Hey, Issei, you coming?" I asked with a polite, innocent smile that could rival even Akeno. This, of course, didn't go unnoticed in a room full of bored people looking for entertainment in their lives.

"Oh no, Issei got his clutches on them." One girl said with worry.

"I feel sorry for them." Another said, which was just funny in my eyes, and I was doing this to get Issei in a new light. I know my reputation will never be tainted if I pull out the innocent card in class.

"U-um, sure," Issei answered a bit flustered.

"I am Motoaki Matsuda." Boldie introduced himself to Elira, but I didn't seem to care.

"I already introduced myself, Elira." Still smiling.

"And I am Kenji Motohama." Motohama introduced himself, too, but Elira just nodded.

"I don't think the info has reached you yet." A voice spoke from my back.

"Kiryuu," Motohama called angrily. "What do you want?"

"Why are you looking at me like that? Is it wrong to warn the new students?" Kiryuu retorted.

"Warn us? About what?" Elira asked, also playing innocent, I had warned her during class about the perverted trio.

"Warn you about those three," Kiryuu said while pointing at the trio.

"They are known as the perverted trio due to how they act," Kiryuu said with a smile, even though she is a pervert herself, though no one judges her.

"Well, I already knew Issei had an obsession with boobs," I said with an innocent smile, but a grin on the inside as an idea popped into my mind.

"Hey!" Issei shouted, but I ignored him.

"It was literally the first thing he shouted when he saw my-" I was cut off by the floor opening and a group of girls standing outside.

"Dan, you coming?" Candy asked with some excitement in her voice.

Tch, God must have left a lot of blessings with this class, as I was just about to short-circuit their brain. But who said I can't do it?

"Coming, love, I was just getting Issei." After those words left my lips, the whole class quit, even the ones mummering about the girls outside quit.

I then grabbed Issei's hand and pulled him out, as I knew nothing had happened. As soon as the door closed, it began.

"What the fuck?" A voice broke the silence.

"Did he just call her love?" Another asked.

"Is he dating two girls at the same time?" Another sounded on the verge of tears.

"*Sigh* This is what I live for," I said with a satisfied sigh.

"Was that really necessary?" Asia asked, a bit concerned.

"I guess peace ends with the lunch break," Candy said, having already accepted her fate.

I turned to Asia. "All that was just so that no guys get any ideas," I said with a straight face.

"Smart," Koneko spoke up with her usual stoic facial expression, although it showed a hint of concern.

"Oh, hey Koneko, I hadn't seen you there." I raised my arm in front of her. "Up top," I said with an amused smile.

"Do I look like a child to you?" Koneko asked with a flash of anger now replacing her concern, although it quickly disappeared.

"Do you want an honest answer or one to make you feel better?" My smile never faltered for a bit. She just turned and walked away.

"Hey, Dan," Issei called me as we started walking towards the ORC.

"Mmh?" I slowed down and walked beside him.

"Why did you talk to me in class?" He asked, looking down.

"Huh?"

"When most people find out about the perverted trio, they try to stay as far away as they can." He explained.

"It was to cause trouble," I admitted with my amused smile back on.

"Huh?" Now it was Issei's turn to be confused.

"I knew about the perverted trio before I joined Kouh Academy, so I knew some people would be worried if the hot new kid tried to make friends with the perverted trio, and it worked," I explained while putting my hands behind my neck.

"That's all a lie." Elira walked more slowly and joined us.

"What do you mean?" Issei asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah, what do you mean?" I asked, trying to sound daring, but a hint of concern broke through for a split second.

"He talked to you so that people stop viewing you as someone incapable of making friends, well, except those two," Elira explained in a calm voice.

"Sounds like him." Candy pointed out, looking a bit thoughtful.

"He doesn't like showing off that he is kind." Elira also stated.

"Shut up. I am not like that." I looked to the side, looking irritated, but I couldn't lie, it was nice knowing I had people who cared that they knew me this well. But it's still irritating getting called out in public.

"Is that true?" Issei asked, looking at me with newfound respect. Not that I hated that look, but the reason behind it was stupid.

"I already told you, it was just to cause trouble," I said with a bit of irritation slipping into my voice because they were not listening to me.

"He would never admit it, though, that's just how he is," Candy said while looking at me with loving eyes.

"Look, I love that you girls know me so well, but I would appreciate it if you stopped talking," I narrowed my eyes at them. They just chuckled, but luckily, we reached the ORC.

Koneko opened the door and entered with us on her tail. Trihexa and other third years were there, including one of Sona's peerage members. "Finally! What took you so long?" Trihexa exclaimed as we entered.

"Yeah, Koneko, you're usually early. What happened?" Rias asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Someone wanted to cause trouble," Koneko replied as she moved to her spot on the couch, not before glancing my way.

Rias and the others looked at me, waiting for me to clarify. "Nothing, I just went to get Issei." I raised my hands in the air defensively.

"And then he proudly declared that he is dating Elira and Candy in front of the entire class," Issei added, looking somewhat annoyed.

"HUH, how could you betray the bro code?" I asked in mock surprise and betrayal.

"Guess it's just you and me, Kiba." I looked at Kiba with a solemn expression.

"How could you, Issei?" Kiba played along with his usual smile.

"""Boys!""" Rias, Candy, and Trihexa all exclaimed at once, then they looked at each other and laughed.

"I thought I was kind of cute~" Akeno said while looking at me specifically.

"I appreciate the thought, Akeno, I really do, but I am in a committed relationship, and I don't think it would work out between you and me. Don't worry, it's not you, it's the universe." I acted as if it was hurting me to say that. The girls just rolled their eyes, but still had smiles on their faces.

"We should eat before the lunch break ends," Rias suggested, bringing us back to the reason why we are here.

As we ate, we talked with each other and soon found out that Trihexa had also declared that we were together as part of her introduction.

"What? A maiden's mate is their pride." She defended herself.

"Oh, a maiden, huh?" I teased and then continued eating my bento, closing my eyes without worrying about the silence that followed.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Why are you all so silent?" I asked, opening one eye only to see the girls' flustered faces and the devil's shocked.

"You know, there is a reason why a bedroom life is also dubbed a secret life?" Candy asked while fanning herself with her hand, not daring to look anyone in the eye.

"So, you're not a virgin?" Tomoe Meguri asked Trihexa, looking shocked and flustered.

"N-maybe." She replied in a low voice with a red face.

"Wow, I didn't know you could blush so much. Especially considering how bold you were tonight." I kept pushing them. I was pretty sure I saw smoke coming from Asia's head after that comment.

"Uuh... I think I said too much." I said, looking around.

"You think?" Issei practically shouted. "How dare you talk about your sex life in front of us. Are you showing off?"

I looked to the side. "I have no idea what you're talking about; it was just a slip of my tongue."

"Bastard." Issei slumped down on his hands and knees. "Why don't I have a harem?" He asked mostly himself, but we all heard it.

"I could give you a couple of reasons, but in the end, it's all because of your perverted nature," I said with a shrug.

"I hate to agree, but it's true," Akeno sighed as she said this.

"What do you mean, 'you hate to agree.'" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"Let's just say I am not on the best of terms with fallen angels." She explained with her usual fake smile.

"Suit yourself." I shrugged because I knew why, so I wasn't going to judge.

"Pervert," Koneko added her two cents and then kept munching on her snack.

"Okay, I get it," Issei shouted. "I'll stop hanging out with Motohama and Matsuda."

I sighed dramatically. "Oh, the length you would go through for a girl," I teased.

"I would stop at nothing to get a harem." His eyes were full of stars as he said that.

"..."

"And we are back to square one." I looked at Issei with disappointment. "Look, Issei, I know it's your dream, but maybe don't go shouting it everywhere. It's not a good image." I put my hand on his shoulder as I said that.

I caught sight of Rias' thoughtful expression as she looked at Issei. I guess the plot continues.

We kept discussing various topics as we ate.

"By the way, I meant to ask yesterday," Rias started looking at me and the girls, her expression turning serious. "How did you know about Koneko, and how much more do you know?"

I looked at Tomoe, and she immediately understood. "I'll leave first, I have council duties to attend to." She stood up and left.

"Well, we know about Koneko cause of her smell," I said. "And because Trihexa picked up on it."

"If it weren't for her, we wouldn't know." Candy continued.

"That's all we know for now," I said, making sure to emphasize the now.

"What do you mean now?" Rias asked with caution in her eyes.

I smirked. "We both know that our information-gathering skills are top-notch; if we wanted to find out about you or your pasts, it would be a breeze, no matter how much your brother keeps them sheltered."
