It was still that voice echoing in the Resentment Forest, yet now it was stronger than ever before. Lynch could distinctly feel a strong Spiritual Field lock onto him fiercely, as if it held a deep grudge against him.
What's going on?
Lynch frowned slightly.
"Leggo!"
Sirius called to him, "Now is not the time to daydream; from now on, we need to stay focused."
Lynch temporarily set aside the doubts in his mind. "Alright."
The four began to move forward.
Sirius unsheathed the Cross Sword, holding it in his hand as he walked in front, while Triss and Hilia followed closely on each side, leaving the longest-ranged Lynch to cover from the back, forming a standard adventure group's marching formation.
"Crack, crack!"
Not long after they continued forward, a grinding sound echoed as a wobbly Skeleton appeared at the dark end of the corridor ahead.
