Chapter 505 - Chapter 37: The Good Wizard in Lynch's Eyes

Erwin had left, leaving only Julia and the carriage in the clearing.

Inside the carriage, the candlelight flickered, casting a pale flame on Lynch's stern face, making his already cold demeanor appear even colder.

"Sss sss!"

The faint rustling of paper brushed over the pages, accompanied by the whispering night breeze, apart from which the entire forest was so silent you could hear a pin drop.

After a brief silence...

"M... master!" Julia's trembling voice arose.

At this moment, she had entirely lost the arrogance she usually held, lowering her head while standing in front of Lynch, trembling all over, like a child awaiting punishment from their parents.

Lynch put down the book, looked up, and his gaze fell on Julia.

He said indifferently, "Tell me, what happened?"

Soon after leaving the market, Lynch received a message from Erwin on his way back, informing him that Julia might be in danger and requesting his assistance.
