Gray Stone Town, a small border town in the northwest of the Kingdom of Ramding.
Located in the remote mountainous region of northwest Ramding, the nearest town with commercial activity is nearly a month's journey away. The town itself doesn't have any specialties, and the townspeople are self-sufficient by growing some food and gathering some nuts.
Under these circumstances, the town is basically isolated from the world, except for the occasional Wandering Merchant who comes to sell goods, and the Lord's convoy which comes every six months to collect some taxes. Other than that, there is virtually no contact with the outside world.
It was early morning, just at dawn.
"Yawn!~"
A little old man yawned as he pushed open the door, picked up the hoe leaning against the door, and headed to the fields. Behind him, a plainly dressed old woman followed, carrying a bamboo basket in her hand and trailing behind the man.
