Chapter 812 - Chapter 28: Lonely Soul

Lynch's pupils constricted slightly, and he murmured under his breath, "A solitary soul?"

The name felt both unfamiliar and strangely familiar to him. As he concentrated on unraveling this thought, a long-buried memory suddenly resurfaced vividly in his mind.

These memories dated back to his apprenticeship at the Shadow Tower, during the Blood Moon War held by the Wizard Family at the site of the Ancient Ruins.

Deep within a shattered ruin, he had once sensed an extremely weak soul fluctuation at an ancient altar relic, like it might dissipate at any moment. At the time, that soul body called itself "a solitary soul," and they had a brief exchange.

"Could it be..." A hint of surprise flashed through Lynch's eyes. He hadn't expected that soul to actively reach out to him.

At the same time, the voice seemed to penetrate through time and space, acutely perceiving his inner turmoil, and spoke slowly with the familiarity of a long-awaited reunion, "It seems... you remember me now."
