"Doctors back then really had a heart of gold. Look at doctors now, turning someone's father into a cripple and still having the nerve to cry here. In my opinion, hospitals shouldn't let young girls operate. Look at her, she's barely grown up, what can she do on the operating table besides causing trouble and harming people?" An old lady in the crowd pointed at the female doctor and said.

"What are girls doing being doctors, studying so much? They still have to get married when grown up. I say girls should just stay at home to support their husbands and educate the children, there's no need for them to work." Another older woman in the crowd chimed in.

The female doctor remembered this old lady. She was the one who performed surgery on her grandson. She also remembered the gratitude the old lady showed after the surgery, but how long had it been? Yet now, she was saying these things about her.
