Nan Zhubin had just opened the room for ventilation not long ago, theoretically making the indoor temperature slightly higher than outside.
In this situation, the visitor opposite hadn't removed their parka, possibly as a display of a common "defense" posture; another possibility could be that they didn't plan to stay long in the consulting room.
Nan Zhubin quickly assessed the visitor: half-sitting on the chair, knees and feet constantly shaking, legs spread and one directly facing the door.
Both scenarios seem applicable to the visitor, with the second being more likely.
"Hello, Captain Li, thank you for finding the time to come here amidst your busy schedule," Nan Zhubin smiled and said.
"My name is Nan Zhubin. I wonder if you've heard that a psychological aid team has settled into our camp today, and I'm part of it."
