The 'future' card drawn by Director Xing had a simple light gray background, with a pattern of a pair of wide open arms, with three human silhouettes in front of them.
He interpreted it as "a pair of arms embracing three people."
"I..." Director Xing pursed his lips, seemingly needing to muster some strength to say what he wanted to say next.
"I'm thinking... I could protect something. Just like these arms."
"What to protect?" Nan Zhubin pressed.
