"Alright then, be careful," Kou Hai said, panting heavily.
Ying Tianxing also nodded, "Gu Sheng, Black Emperor, you must be cautious."
"Woof! Woof!" Black Emperor barked twice in response.
Gu Sheng and Wu Dewang continued climbing forward, while Xing Lie and the others returned to the cave, waiting for their good news. The higher they climbed, the stronger the gravity became, as if an invisible mountain were pressing down on them, making each step extraordinarily difficult. Yet, they refused to give up, knowing that only perseverance could lead them to the Divine Spring.
"Woof! Woof!" Suddenly, Black Emperor barked excitedly, seemingly having discovered something.
Gu Sheng and Wu Dewang followed Black Emperor's gaze forward and saw, not far ahead, a spring encircled by radiant light, gurgling with crystal-clear water. The water shimmered, glinting like a dazzling gemstone embedded in the mountain's wall.
"Is this the Divine Spring?" Wu Dewang asked excitedly.
