Caesar gazed at the departing Gallian Cavalry, his expression slightly relieved.

"Caesar, is the situation on the left flank still favorable?" Brutus, knowing well the battle plans that Caesar had arranged before the fight, felt a bit uneasy seeing the Gallian Cavalry meant for a counterattack on the left flank appear here. Seizing the opportunity, he cautiously asked.

Caesar glanced at him, making Brutus feel a chill in his heart.

Caesar then looked ahead, letting out a slight sigh, "We underestimated the Nix people; they were well prepared for this war! Heavy cavalry that dare to charge in formation, iron men who fear not the short sword, cavalry that don't pursue the routing soldiers... all too unexpected!"

Caesar took a deep breath, his eagle-like brows suddenly rising, "However, they are just that! It's almost dusk now, as long as we hold out till nightfall and both sides cease fighting, tomorrow I can figure out a way to defeat them. Victory will ultimately belong to Rome!"
